The Group The Group, founded in April 2008 by members of N & E London Equity Branch, consists of professional actors, writers & directors, whose monthly meetings take place at Theatre Royal Stratford East. The focus of the 3 hour session is on the reading & giving feedback on new plays with the playwright present at the meeting. Cast beforehand with prior consultation with the writer, the reading is followed by an in depth discussion with the cast and other members of The Group.
